WARNE MEAD
THE EARLY YEARS…Born and raised in the Midwest, Warne is one of triplets…all boys! He was an Eagle Scout and was appointed to Boys State in Iowa. He initially attended Iowa State University and was appointed to the US Military Academy at West Point. THE SOLDIER…. He graduated and served in the Infantry for the next 23 ½ years. His assignments were in the 82nd Airborne Div., 101st Airborne, 1st Armored, 8th Infantry 1st Infantry and the 2nd Infantry Division. Warne served as an instructor at West Point in the 60's, was a student at the Armed Forces Staff College in Norfolk, VA, a faculty member at the Command and Staff College, and was a student and faculty member at the Army War College in Carlisle Barracks, PA. He served in Germany, Turkey, and Korea and commanded at both at the battalion and the brigade level. In his 2 Vietnam tours, he was awarded 2 Silver Stars, 2 Legions of Merit, the Distinguished Flying Cross, 5 Bronze Stars for Valor, 10 Air Medals, the Purple Heart and 21 other US and foreign decorations to include the Vietnamese Medal of Honor. THE COMMUNITY LEADER…. Warne is an Elder in the Presbyterian church, on the Kiwanis Club Board of Directors, a member of the board of directors of a credit union, on the board of the West Point Society of Ft. Bragg, and is involved in numerous other civic groups. THE BUSINESSMAN… After his military career Warne and Anne moved to Fayetteville, where he spent 13 years as a licensed broker in securities and insurance. He is a Relocation Specialist and a trained new construction Realtor. His expertise covers the entire range of residential sales and leasing, commercial real estate and creative financing.

ANNE MEAD
THE EARLY YEARS…Anne grew up in Elizabethtown, NC, was deeply involved in high school clubs and activities and, after graduation, attended a business college in Wilmington, NC. THE BUSINESS WOMAN… She was a resident of Pennsylvania for 20 years and worked at the Strategic Studies Institute at the Army War College in Carlisle. She moved to Ft Leavenworth, Kansas and was employed as a Department of the Army civilian at the Command and General Staff College. Upon moving to Fayetteville,
she worked for the Deputy Commanding General, XVIII Airborne Corps and later was appointed as an Assistant Inspector General, XVIII Airborne Corps. She took an early retirement in the early '90s. THE RENOWNED REALTOR….Anne quickly obtained both her Salesman and Broker licenses in order to pursue her desire of assisting buyers find the home of their dreams. She is a "natural" in the business and would appreciate the opportunity of working with you.

PENNY MEAD
Penny is a beautiful, tri-color Sheltie. She is 4 years old, is sweet, sensitive and controls the house and everyone in it. She is a graduate (with honors) of the basic obedience course and has been awarded the Canine Good Citizenship award. She appreciates your phone calls.
